I faced the same bug, after I cleaned the system with bleachbit and ubuntu-tweak.
locale sudo locale-gen "de_DE.UTF-8" sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales sudo sh -c "echo 'LC_ALL=de_DE.UTF-8\nLANG=de_DE.UTF-8' >> /etc/environment" sudo sh -c "echo -e 'LANG=de_DE.UTF-8\nLC_ALL=de_DE.UTF-8' > /etc/default/locale" and rebooting solved it in this case. When using the cleaner again, the bug appears again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1305122 Title: GNOME Photos will not start.
