Public bug reported:

This all started when I found that I had an OS update. I started it and
it seemed to hang about halfway through the download, so I tried to
switch the machine off. When it came back on I had another update which
_seemed_ successful this time but it wanted toload some Language
updates, which I allowed. Then reported it wanted to send you this.
After changing my Ubuntu One password OK, I still haven't tried
rebooting the system.
