cannot load livecd gusty with an ati radeon xpress 200 in a acer
computer...
all modes does not works:
F4 (VGA) at boot start
"start in safe graphic mode" at boot start
r128, radeon, vesa, ati & vga drivers
in a lot of cases; every time i can see a window "start in lower graphic mode"
and i check case and continue or
next step is displaying in text mode "running localboot scripts
(/etc/rc.local)" and livecd freezes
sometimes i can see in the boot process a message which appears during 1
second "unable ??????? region 3"
notes:
- M$ XP works well
- Ubuntu 7.04 works well with no questions during boot proccess ;)
- same problem with xubuntu & kubuntu
- CD has been copied in my HD and MD5 is good
