You have been subscribed to a public bug: hi...im using kubuntu 17.04 since a few weeks ago..i realize that when i tried to rename a file in the DESKTOP,i cant if i use copy and paste the name to the file,..it keeps the original name if i do it in that way...if i erase the entire name manually i get the same result..in other folders as in music, documents or home,it doesnt happens...its only in the desktop......(other bug i think) in those other folders,if i delete the name, and only keep the format of the file,it hides the file...for example...i have an mp3 called Dokken - dreamwarriors.mp3 ...if i erase the name entirely and leave it as ".mp3"(with no name),it simply disappears, but if i change the folder options,to see "hidden files"...the mp3 stills there now showing the "name" .mp3 ,alone...
