Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tracker
Everyime i boot my pc tracker starts indexing. That's the first thing, i guess he shouldn't index everything on every startup? Secondly i can see my stats (tracker-stats) and he shows me more and more indexed files but when searching with the comandline option tracker-search, with the Deskbar applet, the tracker search tool itself or the build in gnome feature i can't find a single file. I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon final version since yesterday and i would like to get this working. I've just read bug 137720 where different solution are mentioned. I'm now running trackerd -v 1 --reindex -f once again but still i can't search any file. ** Affects: tracker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Tracker won't search in my indexed files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/154408 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
