Public bug reported: After a clean install of ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS I am unable to connect my GMail IMAP with Thunderbird, as Google changed their sign in page and I am unable to continue adding an inbox. The update Thunderbird 52 already solved this bug, but there is no update available in ubuntu to install the new Thunderbird.
