I must admit I never saw this particular issue, but could it be part of your local configuration or data that you have in the DB?
On an upgrade the server has to be restarted and it seems to me that the errors I pointed out above let the restart fail. It is a bit unusual as the DpkgTerminalLog.txt should in such a case contain a few more lines complaining about the fail-to-start server which I can't find in your case. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1687611 Title: package mysql-server-5.7 5.7.18-0ubuntu0.17.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: Unterprozess installiertes post-installation-Skript gab den Fehlerwert 1 zurück To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1687611/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
