Joseph, kiney; I was having the problem yesterday with 4.10.0-19-generic whose vmlinuz is dated 8 April.
I installed 4.11.0-rc7 and ran it for awhile today with no problems, but I don't have a good feeling for how long is necessary to say "I think the problem is solved". I have now installed 4.10.11 and am running it.
