Still there is some strange behavior that may be due to this driver. For instance if follow those steps the audio stops playing until the system is rebooted 1) Open a flac or mp3 with vlc 2) ... audio plays nicely 3) Open PulseAudio volume control 4) wait 10-20 s 5) ... audio stops playing To me the current behavior it's not a big deal, but if it can be useful to debug the driver i can provide additional information.
