------- Comment From [email protected] 2017-04-12 07:24 EDT------- I believe it would be good to persist the old eth<n> names on systemd upgrades, e.g. when going from 16.10 (or lower) to 17.04 (or higher) and only use the new naming scheme for clean installs. The reason is that these names may still be referenced somewhere else (e.g. in libvirt guest definitions), which could cause trouble.
