This bug with the bluetooth MX 5000 keyboard & mouse is now over one year old & became a problem from 6.10. It has been reported three (3) times that I know of:
Bug number: 67321 dated 2006-10-21, Bug number: 32415 dated 2006-02-22 & Bub number 79262 dated 2007-01-14. The only walk arounds so far are unpluging/repluging the dongle or uninstalling the bluez packages. Removing the bluez packages removes bluetooth connectivity!
