Same problem. it worked under Feisty, and I upgraded. Network manager couldn't control it because it was in /etc/interfaces, so since it didn't work that way I removed /etc/interfaces. No dice; it tries to connect and eventually gives up. I have not tried blacklisting/ndiswrapper; let's get this working with the native stuff.
