Public bug reported: The aufs filesystem is not available in the linux-aws kernel, because the aufs driver module is contained in the generic kernel's linux-image- extra package.
There is no -extra package for linux-aws, so the aufs driver should be promoted to the main linux-image package for linux-aws.
