I just tested this bug again with current gutsy on AMD64, and the problem has gone away for me at least. I was able to switch to the human theme, and experienced no issues starting firefox (2.0.0.6).
Why might this be? * My xorg.conf was regenerated, but the only significant change that I saw was that the DRI section was removed (I have an nvidia card.) But adding back the DRI section don't change anything. So, hopefully the problem is solved because of a software update. This could be human-theme 0.9, or it could be a result of updated gtk+ or cairo libraries, or ... something else? I'd be happy to test changes - but note that I'm not subscribed to this report. -BenRI -- MASTER [GUTSY] firefox crashed on startup -- human theme [?? from libcairo.so.2] [ubuntulooks_draw_progressbar_trough at #12] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123646 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
