@Rafael - no need to apologize at all. I'm pleased with your active participation and that is all it needs to make work on a bug good. This isn't on your shoulders alone :-)
At least the Testcase is more clear now, based on your good initial report and updated by me here (see Bug Description above) But that means we have to refer to the HW experts to solve that. I don't easily see what is missing atm. The patches that were suggested were all backported so far. @IBM = @bugproxy(and maybe @Thomas Huth if you can spend a bit of Time): I have to ask on your expertise now. Could you take a look if either my backport has issues - I hope not as it not only builds (trivial) but also passes all other tests I have done so far - so it seems more incomplete than wrong to me. What would come to your mind, any more patches missing here? There is also a backport for another PPC HW issue in the overall Delta - might those interfere in a bad way? Since I hope to get your help I want to make it easy for you to review the current Diff, so I pushed a git repo of the changes to: https://git.launchpad.net/~paelzer/ubuntu/+source/qemu?h=SRU-2.5%2Bdfsg-5ubuntu10.10 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1664622 Title: qemu: Missing transaction memory advertisement To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1664622/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
