Well, in order to make the interfaces similar to Windows, we reimplemented the 
menu, indicator, panel, control center etc, which contains ukui-menu, 
ukui-indicators, peony, ukui-control-center and ukui-screensaver. Ukui-panel is 
utilized to fit the layout for ukui-menu. Mate-utils and mate-power-manager are 
dependent on mate-panel, so we had to fork them. What is more, a desktop 
environment must have it's own session-manager, so we forked 
mate-session-manager. 
Maybe we can cut mate-utils and mate-power-manager with your help. :)

We forked from the debian source packages in Ubuntu yakkety archive.
