Hi Chris, thank you for mentioning that the comment in bug 1386465 there worked for you. This seems also to be the same or at least related to bug 1594902. I'm debugging this right now - but the history on these bugs shows me that it often is unreproducible for the debuggers (also see comment #40 on 1386465) and ends up with open questions and expires then. Would you mind answering the last few from these bugs, but for your case: 1. "Is it possible that you did not reboot after the release upgrade?" 2. and from bug 1594902 did you dmesg (or now after reboots your log) contain similar DENIED messages => https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1594902/comments/19 ? Feel free to answer this here, but I'll mark this as a duplicate and hope that all people together might be able to find the missing bits in the config to generate a valid reproducing case. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1594902 Failed to upgrade to libvirt-bin 1.3.1-1ubuntu10.1 on Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1664051 Title: package libvirt-bin 1.3.1-1ubuntu10.8 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1664051/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
