error message said something about cd/dvd write error (no matter if the installation was from usb or dvd), and possibly a bad target hdd. Perhaps correcting/adding to this error message would be an easy "fix" ?
PS. Bodhi linux installed without a problem even with the faulty RAM stick still attached. The installer looks very similar, is it the same? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1663372 Title: Install crashes as soon as all configurations are made To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1663372/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
