Public bug reported: OS is Kubuntu 16.10, Yakkety Yak
LibreOffice details are Version: 5.2.2.2 Build ID: 1:5.2.2-0ubuntu1 CPU Threads: 2; OS Version: Linux 4.8; UI Render: default; Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); Calc: group This is a release that ships with Kubuntu and the correct language pack (en-gb) is also installed. In the past the Kubuntu included releases have always given me spell check problems so I tend to remove them and install directly from the LibreOffice web site. Including the language pack -- always works with the correct spell checker. Unfortunately there are issues with version 5.2.3.3 and 5.2.4.2, the toolbars not being rendered correctly. When LibreOffice starts the tool bars do appear but completely distorted and unusable. I download the Linux x64 deb packages. My preference is to have the Kubuntu release work with the correct language pack. Both issues should be reproducible, hopefully I have supplied enough information. There is no attachment, the spell checker should highlight incorrect spelling as well as random text characters. Please note: I have filed this bug with the Libreoffice team -- they suggested I should open a report against Kubuntu Best wishes Andrew ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1662371 Title: spell checker not working for non US locale To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1662371/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
