I also have this problem. This happens on my laptop (A Dell Latitude X300 [Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device]).
Really frustrating, as this did not happen earlier when upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy-beat. Not after installing from alpha-CDs either.
