The same happens here. With a dual screen setup the second monitor is correctly displayed at 1280x1024, but the first monitor has a virtual resolution of 1600x1200, causing scrolling.
Every time I run the displayconfig-gtk utility and press OK, it changes all my xorg.conf settings completely, adding obsolete modelines for the monitor (even though I added the inf file). Very annoying and this should definitely be fixed, because a lot of people or going to use this (potentially) useful tool. ** Attachment added: "Xorg.conf generated by displayconfig-gtk with erroneous virtual line" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10031597/xorg.conf -- Virtual is set when it doesn't need to be, causes scrolling https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139800 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
