Public bug reported: Binary package hint: upstart-compat-sysv
I used to frequently do this: sudo telinit 1 And when in run level1, do a telinit 5 This had the effect of doing, in 99% of cases, a "quick reboot". Is this still the way to go using upstart? How can I do a "fake" reboot from now on? ** Affects: upstart (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed ** Tags added: edgy -- telinit does not work as espected https://launchpad.net/bugs/61204 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
