vlc-0.8.6.relesae.c from Gutsy on i386 cannot play xvid movies (installed yesterday). The file loads, the audio plays, but the video is just a green box.
vlc installed from Medibuntu repos (force install on Gutsy) plays xvid movies correctly. Same with mplayer, kaffeine, and codeine.
