Thanks for reporting. I've looked a bit into this issue alongside bug 1656967. The crash is due to missing dependencies, and as a workaround it can be resolved by installing the following packages: python-cairo python-gi python-gtk2
These packages are required to run gpxviewer, but since they aren't marked as dependencies at the moment they aren't installed unless you have already done so. I've created a patch for this issue which I've forwarded to Debian (will attach a bug watch shortly) ** Changed in: gpxviewer (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Tags added: packaging yakkety zesty ** Summary changed: - Crashes + Crashes due to missing dependencies -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1654976 Title: Crashes due to missing dependencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gpxviewer/+bug/1654976/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
