Public bug reported: I use a Conceptronic PCMCIA-WLAN-Adapter with a Ralink RT61 chipset to connect to wireless networks. The adapter uses the rt2x00pci driver (if I get it right) and works fairly well (see other bug reports).
But everytime I manually eject the adapter from its PCMCIA-socket, it causes the system to lock completely. If I manually remove the rt2x00pci module, I can savely eject the card. lspci-output: 06:00.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 rev B 802.11g ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- rt61 pcmcia adapter eject causes system lock https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152865 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
