Hello Joseph Salisbury, I cannot test another kernel because I'm currently using a module that solves a bluetooth bug which works only with my current kernel, as you can see from here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1653843 http://askubuntu.com/questions/867645/bluetooth-not-discovering-any-devices-on-ubuntu-16-04 This issue did not start happening after any update or upgrade, I did a fresh install and the bug was there. This bug has allready been adressed here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1587913 At the end of the bug report there is a link to the site where the module that solves the problem can be downloaded. The link to the module download is: https://github.com/vlasenko/hid-asus-dkms I have tested it with an asus x556uak laptop with kaby lake and ubuntu 16.04.1 and it works. However if you desire any further information or output from my terminal I'll gladly provide it. Thank you for your time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1654064 Title: Touchpad not working correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1654064/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
