Sure, I can attach the file if it can be uploaded, as the size is almost 1MB, and when I try to resize it with gThumb exif is removed completely.
You are right that if a file has DateTime tag in exif, then the changing date from exif in gThumb is active in Gutsy (chacked it with some other photos), but I've always been convinced that DateTimeDititized tag is taken when changing the date of the file. I have hp photosmart 935, which never produces DateTime tag which can be seen in the screenshot I uploaded previously. The point is gThumb in Feisty could change the date of the file from exif even when DateTime tag was not present. It's not possible now in Gutsy version of gThumb. Besides I went through my pictures and noticed that if i want to modify the dates of my photos I prefer using DateTimeOriginal or DateTimeDigitized tags rather than DateTime tag, which is not when the photo was taken originaly taken. ** Attachment added: "HPIM0491.JPG" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9977012/HPIM0491.JPG -- gThumb change date to exif date https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152246 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
