Hi, thanks for the quick answer. I use the Māori keyboard layout (which is just a generic US-Intl or similar layout with ready access to macrons.) It used to be that there was an option somewhere that enabled the euro symbol on the altgr+4, and it works on another computer but was configured before the 16.10 upgrade, so I was searching around for how to turn it on on this one but can't find it (and found the errors in the documentation while doing so.) https://www.pcsteps.com/4669-type-the-euro-sign-linux-mint-ubuntu/ these are old instructions that used to work, but the options have gone. I can type compose-e-=, but euro is frequently enough used that it would be nice to have it on altgr-4 rather than ¼, which I never use. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1649240 Title: "enter special characters" page refers to missing and incorrect things To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs/+bug/1649240/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
