As I mentioned above, disconnecting from the docking station was problematic with 16.04 and once I upgraded to 16.10 the docking and subsequent suspend worked. A new kernel update came through today:
Linux garuda 4.8.0-28-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Fri Nov 11 14:03:52 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux and now removing from docking fails. If I boot the computer, login, and then dock everything works. When I remove the computer from the docking station the laptop screen stays black and there is no way to interact with the computer so I have to hard shutdown. I'm also facing issues with this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1642356 (maybe related). This also has shifted from working, to non-working, to working from the kernel changes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1634325 Title: Lenovo X250 failes to suspend after being docked To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1634325/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
