Anyways, I see that the latest version of jemalloc in Ubuntu is 3.6.0-9ubuntu1 [1], which is available in Ubuntu 16.04 and later. The ubuntu1-part indicates it includes some Ubuntu-specific patches, but it is otherwise based on the latest version packaged in Debian [2]. So it looks like Ubuntu already contains the latest version of this package?
