What I was trying to say there before my lack of browser skills interrupted me was that I've added some notes about this problem to the ALSA bug tracker. In the short term, this can be fixed by reverting this change to alsa-lib: http://hg-mirror.alsa-project.org/alsa- lib/diff/23c4c0f5de40/src/pcm/plugin_ops.h
Longer term, the idea behind that change is good (it improves the output quality), but the implementation has a slight problem. -- Rhythmbox sound problems (clicking/snapping/crackling) when not using crossfading backend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116990 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
