to Matthew Garrett : It's my laptop that is dual booting Feisty and Gutsy so I can't easily switch drives. (I might be voiding warranty and I don't have any 2.5" drives lying around)
I'm totally sure that this problem is related to Gutsy. When I didn't boot Gutsy at all during about 2 months I didn't encounter any problems. fsck didn't produce any errors this time.
