More info about this...

1) I'm actually specifying one additional argument to youtube-dl, "-f
95", to select the specific video format that I want to download.

2) Unfortunately, I can't give you a Youtube URL that exhibits this
issue, because the video that I'm downloading is a live Youtube stream
that is only accessible for viewing while it's streaming, and I can't
find a persistent, i.e., non-live video on Youtube which has format 95.

3) I can't reproduce this with persistent videos with other -f
arguments.

4) As I mentioned above, the command is being run out of a cron job, but
that doesn't seem to be the entire issue either, because I just ran
youtube-dl --quiet -f # URL out of a cron job and couldn't reproduce
this.

I'm pretty stumped here. I definitely see this behavior when recording
the specific video mentioned above, but I just can't figure out how to
reproduce it to demonstrate it to you.
