I have found several other mentions of this issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/1612882 https://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2016/04/26/%23snappy.html https://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2016/08/30/%23snappy.html
Clearly some other people are affected too, not just the two of us. :) In some of the above links there is a workaround (for snapd case): apt-get purge snapd apt-get install snapd After my 1st attempt the problem remained. However after doing the above for a 2nd time the problem went away! Maybe it picked another non-broken CDN node after the 2nd reinstall? Or something else similar to that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1617765 Title: Connections reset when downloading snaps from CDN To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/software-center-agent/+bug/1617765/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
