Here's a temporary fix I tested with Mnemosyne and Anki: 1. Add the Xenial repositories to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ xenial universe deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ xenial-updates universe 2. apt-get update 3.
