I see this bug's quite old, but I can confirm it on Ubuntu 14.04. After linking '~/.local/share/Trash/files' to '~/trash:' I get directed to the correct directory BUT I'm missing the special context menu entrie(s) like "Restore". When opening Trash via "thunar trash://" from CLI I get the expected view with correct context menu.
How to make Thunar/Nautilus recognise that directory as Trash? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1217647 Title: Trash launcher icon expects trash folder in different location from any file manager To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1217647/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
