Just found a better set of settings: - `gsettings set com.ubuntu.user-interface scale-factor "{'HDMI1': 8, 'eDP1': 8m 'eDP-1': 12}"` - `gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface text-scaling-factor 1.0` - `gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface cursor-size 36` - setting `layout.css.devPixelsPerPx` in Firefox about:config to 2.0
This fixes things visually, but the checkbox is still missing. Also, this is effectively a time bomb, since there's no guarantee these custom values would be nicely updated / keep working after the next Ubuntu upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1629770 Title: No "UI scaling" checkbox in display properties, no actual scaling in unity, nautilus, gnome apps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-control-center/+bug/1629770/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
