ChrisC: sebastian already said it's been used in the installer! in the last 10 days since Colin Watson (a maintainer of the installer) acknowledged the workaround and said he would investigate, none of the comments here have been remotely useful, but are spamming a fairly long list of subscribers. Can we stop that now please?
