Ubuntu on z, is an Ubuntu Server and Cloud offering, that is by default it is headless systems, without any graphical displays. No graphical Desktop Environments. The default experience of Ubuntu Server, Cloud, OpenStack, Juju, LXD, MAAS use command-line and web-app interfaces.
As there is no display, before using VNC, one must create one. However, I discourage you from using graphical apps. What applications and workloads are you trying to use, that require a display and/or remove VNC display? ** Changed in: tightvnc (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1626758 Title: tightvncserver doesn't work no s390x platform To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tightvnc/+bug/1626758/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
