Version 7.0.5+dfsg-4ubuntu0.1 from -proposed solves the issues of local bacula-console failing to connect to Director for me. It also solves remote bacula-console-qt failing to connect to the same director (without upgrading bacula-console-qt, only the director host has -proposed package).
