right.. i've forgotten that combination! :) highlight off+wrap on = it's ok... pretty scrollable and editable. (seems equal to highlight off+wrap off) so, in my opinion, "highlight" is our issue... i'm ready, if necessary, to continue testing gedit.. bye!
