Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Is there anymore information you can supply on this problem?
I am assuming (from your description) you using the 'Disk & Filesystem' application from 'System Settings' (KMenu -> System Settings). Is this correct? Are you using a language that uses non-ascii characters (such as Czech/Chinese)? Can you run the graphical mount program from a Konsole window, and replicate the problem and then post the output in the terminal window? The mounting program is called `mountconfig` and you'll need to run it from the Terminal using sudo and your admin password. sudo mountconfig Hopefully this will give some more hints to what is happening. ** Changed in: kde-guidance (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: kubuntu-meta => kde-guidance Status: New => Incomplete -- NTFS mount method in Kubuntu "System Settings" is broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150400 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kde-guidance in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
