Public bug reported:

It is rather clear that one can't define a default Xenial guest and live
migrate it back to a Trusty host. The qemu/kvm on the Trusty machine
just doesn't know how to handle this new type of virtual machine.

But I'd have assumed that starting a ppc-i440fx-trusty machine on Xenial should
allow them to be migrated back to a Trusty host. At the moment that doesn't
work.
The same is true for T(P)->P.

OTOH - this isn't the most important migration direction, so while a
true issue it maybe isn't the worst as long as forward migration and
back-migration of these guests works.

I already have enough data from the tests to start debugging once more
urgent related issues on migration are resolved.
