Please read linked bug report carefully (especially comment 79 <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/792085/comments/79> with blog post <http://dhanar10.blogspot.com/2015/03/usb-hdd-gets-mounted-again-after-safely.html>). It seems that problem came from udisks. Modern Fedora and RedHat are affected too <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1278944>. Arch is affected by this bug see forum <https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=184796>.
