*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 48410 *** Thanks for your report. This is indeed bug 48410, as Vassilis suggests. /home needs to be a proper Unix filesystem like ext3, not an NTFS partition; you should mount NTFS partitions somewhere else if you want to get at the data on them.
