I wouldn't be so sure. One thing I notice happens when it trips out is
that System/Apperance/Visual Effects gets reset to "none" anytime it
happens. Setting it back to custom brings everything back however any
attempt to rotate the cube, either by mouse wheel, cursor left or
right+ctrl+alt, or moving to screen edges causes it. Like I said before,
this was not so before the last round of upgrades, in which I noticed
there was an update for compiz and its relations.................
