Same here. This might be random but I was not able to get the gray blocks through (playing a video with xv, close it and directly switch to vt) since this update. But it is still possible to get them with Juan Pablo Salazar BertÃn's steps: 1. Disable desktop effects and enable desktop effects again. 2. Switch to VT1 and switch back to VT7. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 several times.
