Yes I think you are right, same bug. The thing is, I do actually need colour profiles because I calibrate my monitors, and Shotwell does actually display correctly. So removing the profiles isn't an option for me, and if I want to quickly preview an image or look through photos, eog is just a bit easier that Shotwell.
