Same has jmspeex, Ctrl-SysRq-b works and Ctrl-Alt-Backspace doesn't
work.

I also noticed something special about this bug. I experienced the bug
yesterday too but I noticed that one on my terminal windows wasn't
freeze. It was pinging Google and the terminal didn't look like if it
was freeze at all. I saw each answer from the Google servers in the
terminal windows one by one like if it was working normally. However, I
was still able to move my mouse but nothing was happening when I clicked
somewhere. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace didn't work.

So maybe that this strange behaviour can give some clues about the bug!
The X server doesn't look like being completely freeze.
