By the way, perhaps I would be more likely to be willing to help more if you hadn't made a snotty comment about bug-reporting etiquette when you asked me to update my BIOS. A comment which, oddly, appears to have disappeared. I find it quite disconcerting that people are apparently able to make passive-aggressive rude comments to bug reporters and then delete them without a trace.
